Certification

NCQA Certification products represent a subset of the standards and guidelines for our Accreditation products and are appropriate for organizations that provide specific services, but not comprehensive programs. The review process is rigorous and may consist of both an onsite and offsite evaluation. The evaluations are conducted by physicians, if appropriate, and experts in the product being evaluated. A review oversight committee of physicians analyzes the team’s findings and assigns a certification level based on the organization’s performance against NCQA’s standards.
